It is my pleasure to announce organizational changes in CNI effective Dec 2, 2014.   Donny Oleniczak, VP Sales and Business Development announced several months ago his intention to step down from his role and move back to FL.  We are grateful for Donny’s willingness to accept the challenge and for his accomplishments while at CNI the past four years.  He has been instrumental in helping create growth and expansion, and an account management team that will have positive impact for CNI for many years.  Donny will continue to be involved in special projects for CNI.

I am happy to report that Mark Bishop has accepted the position of Vice President of Sales and Business Development.  Mark has most recently been Vice President of Sales for Cheminova for about five years and prior to that he was Vice President of Sales for Makhteshim-Agan.  Mark has vast experience in the crop protection industry across the United States with experience in sales and marketing (product management) with Zeneca, Rhone Poulenc, Aventis and Bayer CropScience.  We are looking forward to Mark’s leadership as CNI expands.  Mark is a graduate of Iowa State University, and will be located in the Research Triangle Park, NC area.  Mark and his wife, Shari, have two children, Erin and Luke.

I am also pleased to announce that Matt Olson has been hired as CNI AgriMinerals Sales Manager reporting to Greg Slade, General Manager.   Matt has most recently been employed by Syngenta in Greensboro, NC as Manufacturing Supervisor.  Prior to that, he worked for IMC Fertilizer/ Agrium reporting to our own Larry Graham.   He is a graduate of North Carolina State University in Chemical Engineering and has a Master’s in Business Administration from Wake Forest University.   Matt will bring much needed expertise to our company and we look forward to his contributions.  Matt and his wife, Amy, have three children Ethan, Sadie and Micah.   He will also be located in North Carolina.

Additionally we are happy to have Walt Johnson on board as CNI West Business Development Manager.  Walt’s reputation and his many years of experience in the West Coast agriculture and crop protection distribution will be a great benefit to CNI.  Some of Walt’s past experience includes management roles in UAP, The Lyman Group, The Tremont Group and AgRx.  Walt is a Graduate of the University of Arizona, past Chairman of the Western Plant Health Association (WPHA ) as well as past President of the Arizona Crop Protection Association.  Walt and his wife Mary have two children, Sarah and Kristi.

Please join us in welcoming Mark, Matt and Walt to the CNI Team.
